How does putting work in the app?

How Putting Works in the Golf Daddy App Putting in the Golf Daddy app is handled through an Autoputt system, which automatically calculates the number of strokes needed once your ball lands on the green. This ensures smooth gameplay. We're currently developing realistic putting simulations for the Golf Daddy app. This new feature will be included in a major upcoming update. Autoputt Rules If your shot lands within 7 feet of the hole, it's considered a gimme, and 1 stroke is added to your score as if you made the shot in 1 putt. If your shot is more than 7 feet away, the game predicts a value of either 2 or 3 strokes to simulate the amount of putts it would take. The app then visualizes these putts, so you can see how each stroke plays out on the green. Autochip Rules If your shot lands off the green but within 17 yards of the hole, the app uses the Autochip system instead: Your first chip shot automatically adds 1 stroke to your score. After the chip, the Autoputt system takes over, predicting a value of either 2 or 3 strokes to simulate the amount of putts it would take.

What metrics does the app use for swings?

In Golf Daddy, we track key metrics to help you understand and improve your swings. Here’s what distance and deviation mean: Distance:This shows how far your ball travels after each swing. Basically, it’s how far you’ve hit the ball, helping you track your power. Deviation:This tells you how straight your shot was. If your ball drifts left or right, it shows how much off-course your shot went. The less deviation, the more accurate your swing! We’re also adding more metrics as we introduce new game modes, so stay tuned for updates.

Why do I only have access to a limited number of clubs?

We’re working on expanding the club selection in the app. Currently, we support the 8 iron, 9 iron, pitching wedge, and sand wedge, with more clubs like the 5 iron and 6 iron coming soon We know having a full set of clubs makes a big difference for both fun and accuracy, and as we grow with the community, we're working on expanding our club options to better fit what you're looking for.
