How Putting Works in the Golf Daddy App

Putting in the Golf Daddy app is handled through an Autoputt system, which automatically calculates the number of strokes needed once your ball lands on the green. This ensures smooth gameplay.

We're currently developing realistic putting simulations for the Golf Daddy app. This new feature will be included in a major upcoming update.

Autoputt Rules

If your shot lands within 7 feet of the hole, it's considered a gimme, and 1 stroke is added to your score as if you made the shot in 1 putt.

If your shot is more than 7 feet away, the game predicts a value of either 2 or 3 strokes to simulate the amount of putts it would take.

The app then visualizes these putts, so you can see how each stroke plays out on the green.

Autochip Rules

If your shot lands off the green but within 17 yards of the hole, the app uses the Autochip system instead:

Your first chip shot automatically adds 1 stroke to your score.

After the chip, the Autoputt system takes over, predicting a value of either 2 or 3 strokes to simulate the amount of putts it would take.
