Can I use a driver on my Golf at Home?

The Golf Daddy app was initially built with a focus on tracking swings for irons and hybrids, which is where the simulator currently performs best. At the moment, it's not compatible with drivers or woods. One reason for this is that drivers typically don’t create divots, and divot detection is a key factor in how the Golf Daddy app analyzes swings and tracks shot data. We don’t have anything confirmed yet regarding full support for drivers and woods, but it’s something we’re actively exploring. We’ll keep the community updated if that changes.

Yes — you can definitely use a ball if you prefer a more realistic feel. That said, it’s totally optional. Golf at Home analyzes your swing based on divot path, posture, and club face angle, so it works just as well without a ball. If you do choose to use one, we recommend setting up a training net or impact screen for safe indoor practice.
