Not Receiving Your SMS Verification Code? Here’s What to Do

If you’re trying to register for The Golf Daddy App but haven’t received your SMS verification code, don’t worry—this can happen for a few different reasons. Follow the steps below to troubleshoot the issue and complete your registration successfully. ✅ Step 1: Double-Check Your Phone Number Make sure the number you entered is correct, including your country code if registering internationally. A small typo can prevent the code from reaching you. 📶 Step 2: Check Your Mobile Signal Poor or unstable mobile reception can delay or block SMS delivery. Try moving to an area with better signal and wait a few minutes. 📩 Step 3: Delays from Your Mobile Carrier Occasionally, mobile network providers experience delays in delivering SMS messages. These delays are usually temporary and often resolve within a few hours. 🔄 Step 4: Avoid Multiple Requests Requesting the verification code too many times in a short period can cause further delays. Please wait 24 hours before trying again to allow time for the previous attempts to resolve. 🛑 Step 5: Make Sure SMS Isn’t Blocked Check your device settings to ensure that SMS from unknown or short-code numbers isn’t blocked. Also, verify that no third-party app is interfering with message delivery. 🧼 Step 6: Clear App Cache (Android only) If you're using an Android device, try clearing The Golf Daddy App’s cache via your device’s settings. This can sometimes resolve issues related to message delivery. 💬 Still Not Working? If you’ve tried all of the above and still haven’t received your verification code, we recommend waiting 24 hours before attempting again. In some cases, delays may occur due to temporary issues with mobile network traffic or regional delivery slowdowns. If you still need help, feel free to reach out to us via live chat or email at help@golfdaddy.com—we’re happy to assist.
